Corn Pulao

Ingredients

1 Cup Rice
3/4 th Cup corns
1 Onion finely chopped
2 Green chilli
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
Pinch of Asafoetida
1 Bay leave
1 Star
4 Cloves
1 Cinnamon
4-5 black pepper
1 & 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
Salt
2 tsp Ghee


Method:

In a pressure cooker heat up a ghee.
Add cumin seeds, bay leave, star, cloves, Cinnamon, black pepper, asafoetida and saute it all nicely.
Add chopped onion, mix it. Add ginger garlic pasted or crushed and green chilli, saute it.
Add corns, mix well.
Add garam masala and salt, mix it.
Add soaked rice. Mix and saute it for one minute.
Add 2 Cups water, mix and close the lid.
Cook it for two whistles.
While serving garnish it with fresh coriander , Enjoy !!
Note :
You can add finely chopped Capsicum and carrots as well.
Instead of water you can use coconut milk.
