Mango Cake

Ingredients:
I cup- Semolina
1 cup- Sliced Mango
3/4 cup- Sugar
3/4 cup- Oil
1 tsp- Baking powder
1/4 tsp- Baking soda
1/4 tsp- Salt
1/4 cup- Milk
Tutti frutti (Optional)
Ghee for greasing
Salt for baking

Method:
Take the mango cubes in a mixer jar, add sugar to it.
Blend it into a smooth puree.

Take this puree into a bowl and add oil to it.
Whisk it properly and combine well.
Add semolina and salt to it.
Mix this well.
Now add milk and mix it again.
No lumps should be formed.

Now let this cake batter set for 20 minutes.
Till then, take a kadhai and put some salt or sand into it. Level it up.
Put a wire stand in it.
Cover the kadhai and preheat it for 10 minutes.
If you are using oven then preheat the oven at 180°c for 10 minutes.
Take the cake tin, put a butter paper at its bottom and grease the tin well from all sides.

Now take the mango cake batter and you will see that the batter rises a bit.
Add 1 tsp water to it if needed.
Now add baking soda and baking powder to it.

Mix it well.
Pour the cake batter into the cake tin.
Tap the tin gently, so that no air bubbles are left.
Put some tutti frutti on the top of the batter.
Place the cake tin in the preheated kadhai and cover the kadhai.
Bake the cake in the kadhai for 30 minutes on medium flame or in the preheated oven for 30 minutes on 180°c
After 25 minutes of baking, put a toothpick in the middle of the.
The toothpick comes out clean if the cake is completely baked.
Or else you can bake it a bit more.
Once the cake is baked, remove it from kadhai/oven and let it cool down completely.
Demould the cake and remove the butter paper gently.
The cake comes out perfectly baked.
Slice the cake.
