White Sauce Pasta

Ingredients:

1 Cup Penne Pasta
Butter
Oil
2tsp Maida
1.5 Cup Milk
2 Cheese slice or grated cheese
Corn (Boiled)
Finely chopped garlic
Chilli flakes
Parsley/mixed herb seasoning
Black pepper (Optional)
Salt
Water

Method:

Pasta:

Heat up a water and bring it to boil.
Add  1tsp salt, 1/2 tsp oil and Penne past, mix it.
Take the cooked pasta out of the water, transfer it to colander and drain the excess water.
Wash it once with normal or cool water, it will stop the carry over cooking of the pasta.
Drain the water.
If you are making pasta after some time then spread 1 tsp oil on it so the boiled pasta will not stick together.

Vegetables:

In a pan heat 1-2 tsp oil/olive oil on medium flame.
Add finely chopped garlic in the oil.
Fry the garlic for around 30 seconds.
Add boiled corn, saute it.
Add salt and black pepper powder, mix this nicely.

Switch of the flame and keep it aside.

You can add broccoli, red & yellow bell peppers, capsicum, carrots also.
Here I have used only corn as I am making only cheese corn white sauce pasta.

Sauce:

In a pan, heat up 2-3 tsp butter on medium flame.
Add 2 tsp maida in the butter, mix it.
Saute it continuously on low to medium flame untill the rawness of maida is completely gone, it will take around 3-4 minutes. Mixture will become golden brown.

Now add milk slowly and keep mixing simultaneously. No lumps of maida should be form.
After sometime, sauce will start getting thicker. Cook sauce properly.
If you are making cheese pasta then add here grated cheese or cheese slice and stir it.
Add chilli flakes, seasoning, black pepper powder, salt and mix it.

Add stir fried veggies/corn, mix everything well.
Add boiled pasta in the sauce, mix it.

Your tasty white sauce pasta is ready, Enjoy !!
