Home Made Pizza



Ingredients:

For base:
1 cup- All purpose flour
1/2 cup- Yogurt/Curd
1/2 tsp- Baking soda
1/2 tsp- Baking powder
Salt as per taste
1/2 tsp- Mixed herbs(optional)
1& 1/2 tbsp- oil (Prefer Olive Oil)
All purpose flour- For dusting
1&1/2 cups- Salt (for without oven baking )
6-7 cheese slices or cheese spread and grated processed cheese
Chilli flakes and Oregano (Optional)

For topping:
100gm- Paneer
Salt- 1 tsp
Turmeric- 1/4 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Oil -1 tbsp
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Onion- 1 large sliced
Capsicum- 1 medium sliced
Corns Half cup
Tomatoes- 1 large sliced
Pizza sauce- 3-4 tbsp
Cheese Grated
Jalapeno (Optional)
Oregano / Herbs / Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp

Method: 

Add the salt in a pressure cooker or a kadhai.
The pan should be big enough.
Place a wire stand in it and place a plate on it.
Cover the kadhai and preheat this for 10 minutes.

For making topping:
In a mixing bowl take paneer(you can also use mushrooms).
Add salt, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and oil.
Mix all of these together to coat the paneer well.


Take out the coated pieces of paneer into a plate.
Add onion and capsicum to the remaining coating of masala and mix this really well. This is optional, you can directly place the veggies on pizza .
Heat a pan on high heat and put very less oil to it.
Add paneer pieces to the pan and fry it a for a minute.

Do not completely cook the pieces.
Remove the Paneer.
In the same pan add the onion and capsicum and heat it for minute.(Optional)
Do not over cook them.
Take out the onion and capsicum into a plate and add tomatoes to them and mix it.
This ensures that the tomatoes gets soften without getting cooked.
Let this rest for 5 minutes.
Now chop the veggies a bit.

For making pizza base:

In a mixing bowl, take all purpose flour and add salt, baking powder, baking soda and mix this well for plain base.
Or you can add chilli flakes, herbs, and oregano in pizza base.



Add Yogurt and kneed this into dough.
Add some oil to it and kneed it well for 2-3 minutes.

For simple pizza:

Roll the dough in circle to make pizza base.
Take a perforated plate (you can also use kitchen chalni) and grease it well with oil.
Now put the rolled pizza base into it.
Using a fork make some holes on its surface.
Our pizza base is ready!


For cheese burst:


Divide the dough into two parts and roll them.
Make one portion big and other small.
Take small portion and roll it to make chapati. Prick it with fork. Roast it like roti or chapati , don't use oil. keep this roti aside.

Now take the other portion of dough , roll it in circle shape. 
If you have cheese spread then spread it on this and add some grated cheese. Else keep the cheese slices and add grated cheese on top of it.
Now place the roti on this, which is in small size than our this rolled dough. 
And then seal tightly this roasted roti and base dough together. If you don't do it properly your cheese will come out during baking. Using fork punch it.

Once our pizza base is ready apply about 3 tsp pizza sauce to it.

Add the grated cheese onto it.
Over the cheese place the veggies and the Paneer.

Add some pizza herbs on it.
Add more grated cheese over it.
Place this into a plate and put this plate this plate into the preheated kadhai and cover it.
Let this cook for about 10-15 minutes.
Take the pizza out from the kadhai carefully.
Pizza is ready. Sprinkle some Oregano and Chilli flakes while serving.
Enjoy!

Using Oven :

If you are using oven for baking pizza.
The pre heat your oven and bake the pizza @ 200°c for 15 minutes.
While placing bottom part of the dough on baking plate always dust or sprinkle some flour on it.
once you places the bottom part of the dough on it. Stretch the dough and flatten it using your hand. 

Note: 
The Paneer and the veggies should not get overcooked.
Do not throw the salt used for baking. It can be used again for many more times.
You can keep bake the pizza base separately and use it to make pizza afterwards. To make only pizza base. Get all the pizza base ingredients mentioned in the above recipe. Knead a smooth dough and roll it, prick it with fork
Now place this plate into the heated kadhai/Pan for 5 minutes on medium flame.
If you are using oven the pre-heat your oven at 200 degree and cook it for 5 minutes at 200 degree.


After 5 minutes turn off the flame.
Let it cool for 2-3 minutes and then remove it from the kadhai. Your pizza base is ready.
You can use this pre-cooked/baked or ready made pizza base to make cheese burst pizza.
Divide it horizontally into two layers. Top layer should be thin as compare to bottom layer. Spread the cheese spread or place the cheese slices on the bottom layer and place the top layer on it. Then apply pizza sauce, add cheese and veggies as mentioned in the above recipe. Bake the pizza for 10 minutes.
