Chilli Paneer

Ingredients:

Paneer cubes
1 tsp Ginger finely chopped
1 tsp Garlic finely chopped
2 Dry red Chilli/ Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Sugar
2 Green chilli
4 tsp corn flour/Starch 
3 tsp Maida/All purpose flour
1/4 tsp Black pepper Powder
Half cup white part of spring onion chopped (Optional)
Half cup green Spring onion 
1 Onion cut in cubes
1 Capsicum Cut in Cubes
2 tsp red Chilli Sauce
2 tsp Soya Sauce
1 tsp vinegar
omato ketchup
Vinegar
Black pepper Powder
Salt
Oil for frying
Corn flour slurry - ( mixture of cornflour and water)


Method:

Fried Paneer:

In a bowl, take maida and cornflour, mix it.
Add salt and red chilli powder, mix it. Add water and mix to make batter. 
Get the panner cubes in bowl, add corn flour/starch. Toss it so Paneer will get nice coat of corn flour.
Add oil in a pan and heat it up.
Get this coated panner and dip it in our batter. Coat it nicely with our batter.
Put this coated panner in oil for frying.
Fry it till becomes golden and crispy.
Take it out and put it on oil absorbent paper.


Sauce:

Take a pan and add oil in it. Once oil is hot add ginger,Garlic,green chilli abd dry red chilli, saute it.
Add onions, white part of spring onion and capsicum cubes, saute it for 2-3 minutes.
Add soya sauce and tomato ketchup, mix everything well.
 Add little amount of water, pepper powder and sugar. Cook it for another 1-2 minutes.
Add cornflour slurry. While adding the slurry keep stirring. Cook the sauce till it thickens.
Add the fried paneer cubes, some spring onion. Mix it. 
Check the taste and add some salt if required.
Be careful while adding the salt as we have already added it in the batter and soya sauce also contains salt.
After adding toss the pan so the paneer cubes will get nicely coated with sauce.
Your chilli paneer is ready, turn off the gas.
While serving garnish it with more spring onion and some sesame seeds(optional)


Note:

If you want chilli paneer with Gravy then add more water.
For dry chilli paneer little amount of water is needed.
You can add red pepper and yellow pepper.
If you are using red chilli powder instead of dry red chilli add the 1/2 tsp or 1 tsp red chilli powder (as per your taste) while adding all sauces.
