Aloo Onion Paratha
Ingredients:
2 Cups Wheat flour
3 medium Potato (boiled and mashed or grated)
1 Onion finely chopped
1-2 Green chilli finely chopped
Carrom seeds
Cumin seeds
1 inch Ginger grated
Fresh coriander finely chopped
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
1/4 tsp Amchoor Powder
Cheese grated half cup (Optional -for cheese paratha)
Salt
Ghee
Butter
Method:
Take flour in bowl.
Add salt and water. Mix it and Knead nicey.
Spread oil or ghee over dough so it will not get dry ,cover the dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
In another bowl, take mashed potatoes.
Add chopped green chilli, onion, grated ginger, fresh coriander, cumin seeds, carrom seeds, red chilli powder, coriander powder, Amchoor Powder, garam masala, salt and mix everything.
Get the dough and knead it again.
Make small portion or balls the dough.
Roll it or just make the small katori shape.
Fill the stuffing and close the edges.
Cover or dip it in dry flour and roll it like roti.
It should not be too thin or too thick.
Heat up a pan, put your rolled paratha on it.
Roast it well from both sides.
Apply ghee on one side flip it and spread ghee on other side as well. Roast it.
Take it out in plate.
Serve your paratha with tomato ketchup or Curd or pickle and put some butter on it, Enjoy!!
